20260401: 🎉 Congratulations to Wang Lab on our new publication!
We are pleased to announce our latest research published in Mechanisms of Ageing and Development.
Title: Dietary restriction mitigates cognitive impairments in a mouse model of SCA19/22
Authors: Ma CY, Yeh SR, Huang YH, Lin WS, Lee YC, Tsai TF, Fan SZ, Wang PY.
Journal: Mechanisms of Ageing and Development, 230 (2026), 112157.
Highlights
- Kcnd3 F227del mutant mice recapitulate motor and cognitive deficits of SCA19/22.
- Kcnd3 null mutant mice exhibit hyperactivity while retaining normal cognitive function.
- DR rescues memory deficits without improving motor impairments in Kcnd3 F227del mice.
- The protective effects of DR are evident in the hippocampus at the cellular level, including attenuated neuronal loss, structural alterations, and reduced neuroinflammation.

20250719: 🎉 Congratulations to Wang Lab on our new publication!
We are pleased to share our latest research published in Cellular and Molecular Neurobiology.
Title: Sex-specific neuropsychiatric effects of subanesthetic ketamine exposure in pregnant mice and their offspring
Authors: Lin WS*, Wang PY*, Yeh SR, Lai Z, Lee AC, Fan SZ.
Journal: Cellular and Molecular Neurobiology, 45(1), Article 72 (2025).
Our study showed that prenatal exposure to subanesthetic ketamine could exert long-lasting neurobehavioral effects in a sex-dependent manner, with male offspring being more resilient to stress. These findings may have implications concerning ketamine use during pregnancy, and also provide clues about the developmental origins of emotional problems.
